Terms & Conditions
These terms apply to your use of the Vero Severe Weather Alerts Service, an e-mail and text alert service provided by Vero Insurance New Zealand Limited. By subscribing to this service, you:
Accept these terms; and
You confirm that you are authorised to, and do, accept these terms on behalf of any party for whom you are acting.
If you do not accept these terms, you will not receive Vero’s Severe Weather Alerts (the Alerts)
Definitions
The following words and phrases have specific meanings in these terms and conditions. Alerts an e-mail or SMS message sent to the email address or mobile phone number provided by you, when severe weather has been forecast in your area by MetService New Zealand We, us refers to Vero Insurance New Zealand Limited.
Personal Use
You agree that you will use the Alerts for your own personal use only. You will not use all or any part of the Alerts for any commercial purpose. You will not re-supply, alter, publicly display, or distribute (whether for consideration or otherwise) all or any part of the Alerts.
No liability
Uncertainty is inherent in weather forecasts. While we will use all reasonable endeavours to ensure the accuracy of the Alerts, we give no warranty, guarantee or representation (express or implied) that the Alerts are accurate, complete, current or fit for any purpose.
We accept no liability for:
any loss or damage resulting from the Alerts being inaccurate, unavailable, delayed or otherwise inaccessible (in whole or in part) from time to time;
any exposure to viruses or other forms of interference which may damage your computer system when you receive or use the Alerts.
